Montreal International Poetry Prize

Holifield retired in June 2022 after 20 years in the post, being replace by Mike Sims.

Donald Justice Poetry Prize

It is the most prestigious national Poetry award given annually, since 2006 and presented by the WCU poetry center. This award honors an American poet for an unpublished book-length manuscript of formal poetry. The award event happens every year of spring at the West Chester university poetry event. The winners receive $1500 and will have the manuscript published by autumn house press.

Forward Prize For Poetry

It is the major British award for poetry established in 1992 by William Seighart to celebrate excellence in poetry. The winner of the best collection gets £10000, the first collection £5000, and the best single poem receives £1000.
